The Hambro Monument

The superbly detailed monument designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott as a memorial to Baron Carl Joachim Hambro, who died in 1877.  Scott was one of the leading ecclesiastical architects of his day and Baron Hambro had retained him to undertake the restoration of the Abbey.
