The is a fascinating flint and stone banded church with an early 13c chancel. There seems to be some doubt as to the exact date of the crossing, but Benjamin Ferry was responsible for completely rebuilding the nave and aisles in 1844. There is some attractive coloured decoration; some Victorian and some original in the chancel. The highly decorated and restored pulpit with three 15c panels is said to have come from Milton Abbey. The design of the font is most unusual.
